In the past two years, I’ve been on a few (well, like 10!) cruises. To be quite honest, quality has been hit-or-miss. I’ve absolutely loved some, and hated others. I recently embarked on an eight-day Western Caribbean cruise out of Galveston, Texas on the Carnival Vista.

The Vista was launched by Carnival in 2016 and is one of the most beautifully furnished of the Carnival family. While I have enjoyed several other Carnival ships more, this is a smaller ship full of amenities that any new cruiser (especially those with children!) would love.
